Mr. Wielkopolski is a Partner in our Washington, D.C. office. He has handled patent litigation before the Central District of California, the District of Delaware, the Eastern District of Texas, the Federal Circuit, and the International Trade Commission. In addition to patent litigation and ITC investigations, Mr. Wielkopolski has also represented clients in Inter Partes review proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board.
Mr. Wielkopolski has experience in many aspects of litigation including patent infringement/non-infringement and validity/invalidity analyses, claim construction, motion practice, discovery, and advising clients on these issues.
Counsel for large Internet proxy provider in a series of actions in the Eastern District of Texas, including claims including patent infringement, trade secret misappropriation and false advertising.
Counsel for inventor and manufacturer of built-in pump air mattresses in patent lawsuit in the Eastern District of Texas and related inter partes review proceedings.
Counsel for wireless router manufacturer in patent lawsuits in the Eastern District of Texas, District of Delaware and Central District of California.
Counsel for defendant wireless router manufacturer in patent lawsuit in the Eastern District of Texas and related multi-district litigation in the District of Delaware that resulted in settlement following a favorable claim construction order.
Prior to joining Cherian LLP, Mr. Wielkopolski was an Associate with Urrabazo Law P.C., where he represented co-plaintiff Science Applications International Corporation in VirnetX Inc. v. Cisco Systems, Inc. et al., VirnetX Inc. et al. v. Apple Inc. and VirnetX Inc. et al. v. Microsoft Corporation.
