Washington, D.C., July 24, 2023… John L. North, one of the nation’s top Intellectual Property litigators, has joined Cherian LLP. North focuses his practice on a range of complex litigation matters including patent, trademark, copyright, trade secret, and unfair competition matters.

North has litigated for both plaintiffs and defendants. Representative examples of his work include settlement recoveries of more than $200 million for an international media company, as well representing a billion-dollar communications company, one of the world’s premier BIOS companies, and several pharmaceutical companies.
North has effectively litigated cases in courts across the United States and been involved in complex matters for clients throughout the world including Australia, Taiwan and throughout Western Europe. He has been recognized by Chambers USA, IAM Patent 1000, Best Lawyers, Super Lawyers, and others.
